Shuffleboard is played by either two players (singles) or four players (doubles), where they take turns sliding, by hand, all four of their weighted metal-and-plastic pucks down the court to the opposite end. The object of the game is to score points by getting your pucks to stop in one of the scoring areas, with the player or team scoring the most points declared the winner. Penalties occur if a player's puck does not reach the furthest dead line, slides off the court, or if a player shoots out of turn.
